PREP x PROTECT

Prep x Protect provides the brows with a power dose of Vitamin C, Amino Acids, Soy Extract, Biotin and Antioxidants prior to a brow lift. I moisturizes and strengthens the brows to prevent breakage and damage during the chemical process, so the clients brows remain healthy after the service.


Ingredients: Aqua,Alcohol denat., Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Oryza Sativa Extract, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Proline, Alanine, Serine,Biotin,  Citric Acid, Phenethyl Alcohol, Sodium PCA, Benzoic Acid,Sorbic Acid, Linalool,Perfume (Fragrance).


Shelf Life: 6 months once opened. 

LIFT LOTION

Lift Lotion that breaks the disulfide bonds in the brow hair, allowing it to be restructured into a new shape. This protein-infused Lift Lotion will also help strengthen the hairs from inside out.


Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Ammonium Thioglycolate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth-20, Ethanolamine, Glycerin, Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Hydrolyzed Corn Protein, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Dimethicone, Parfum (Fragrance), Polyquaternium-6, Etidronic Acid, Cetrimonium Chloride, Ammonium Hydroxide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Tetrasodium Edta, Sodium Sulfite, Propylene Glycol, Citronellol.

SET x TINT LOTION

Set x Tint Lotion that reforms the disulfide bonds in the brows and develops tint. We have created this lotion to be extremely flexible. It can be used alone as a Set Lotion, or can be mixed with a Tint Color to set and tint the brows at the same time. This product is exclusive to us as we formulated it (launched in July 2020)!


Ingredients: Aqua, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Hydrogen Peroxide, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Perfume, Hydroxyethylcellulose , PVP, Tocopherol, Sodium Lactate, Lactic Acid, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium EDTA.

GLOW UP

Glow Up is a protein-infused conditioner that will repair and hydrate the brows after a Brow Lamination. It's amazing wax-like texture also allows hairs to be styled into the desired shape, helping the brow hairs settle into its new shape.


Ingredients: Water, Ceteareth-25, Pvp, Sorbitol, Cera Alba, Peg-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Lauryl Glucoside, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Sodiumpolyphosphate, Levulinic Acid, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Glycerin, Sodium Levulinate, Parfum, Tocopheryl Acetate, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Limonene, Tocopherol, Helianthus Annus, Sodium Benzoate, Benoic Acid, Citric Acid, Sorbic Acid.

BROW WRAP

Brow Wrap is a plastic wrap used to cover the brows during processing to prevent the lotions from drying out.

BROW LIFT PROCEDURE (NO TINT)

PROCESSING TIME

3 Minutes - Fine Brows
4 Minutes - Medium Brows
5 Minutes - Coarse Brows
6-7 Minutes - Very Coarse Brows

*Processing times for the Lift Lotion are approximate, as it is affected by temperature. We recommend checking on the brows every 2-3 minutes. The hair should be processed until they appear flat, silky and flexible. You can process for more than the recommended times above. The Set Lotion is to be processed for the same amount of time.

BROW PREP

- Cleanse the brows using Soft Foam cleanser
- Apply Prep x Protect with a wand (one drop is sufficient for both brows). Do not rinse.

STEP 1: LIFT

- Apply the Lift Lotion onto the entire brow. Ensure to work the product in between the layers.
- Apply plastic wrap on top of the brows to prevent the lotion from drying out. (If the product dries out, it will drop processing)
- Allow to process. Check on the brows every 2 minutes. Process until the hairs appear flat, silky and flexible.
- Remove Lift Lotion using a dry wand.

STEP 2: SET

- Apply the Set x Tint Lotion onto the entire brow.
- Allow to process for the same amount of time as the Lift Lotion.
- Remove Set Lotion using a dry wand.
- Remove any remaining residue with a damp cotton pad.
- Rinse the brows with water to remove all product residue. This will not affect the lift results.

STEP 3: CONDITION

- Apply Glow Up onto the entire brow. Style as desired.

- Allow to process for the same amount of time as the Lift Lotion.
- Remove mixture using a dry wand.
- Remove any remaining residue with a damp cotton pad.
- Rinse the brows with water to remove all product residue. This will not affect the lift results.

STEP 3: CONDITION

- Apply Glow Up onto the entire brow. Style as desired.

AFTERCARE

AVOID WATER, CLEANSERS, STEAM AND HEAT FOR 24 HOURS

Natural hair is acidic, with a pH of 4.5-5.5. During the Brow Lamination process, an alkaline lotion is used to break the bonds. Although the bonds are reformed with the set lotion, the hair is still a bit alkaline after the appointment and therefore the bonds need a bit of time to stabilize. The brows can be cleaned with a damp cotton pad if needed. Water, steam and heat are things that can change the physical bonds of the hair. As the hair is still stabilizing, exposing it to these sources can prevent the chemical bonds from stabilizing. Exposing the brows to cleansers, steam and heat prematurely can cause the brow hairs to become unruly.     


Note: It is VERY important to clean the brows thoroughly, removing ALL residue from the hairs and skin, before the client leaves. We do not want any chemicals being left on the skin for the 24 hour period.



CONDITION DAILY

Brow Lamination is a chemical process in which the hair bonds are broken and reformed, during this process, it can cause the hair to become dehydrated. It is very important to condition the brows daily to maintain the results until the brows grow out. Failure to condition daily will result in frizzy and unruly brows.

Directions: Use a Damp Angled Brush to Activate the Pomade. Apply and Thoroughly Work the Product into the Brows. Style Accordingly with a Brow Brush.


BRUSH & STYLE

Brow Lamination restructures the brow hairs so it can be easily styled into a new shape. However, brushing and styling is still required. It’s the same as getting a Hair Straightening service – the hair is straighter, but it still needs to be brushed and styled. A mascara wand can be used to brush the brows into the desired position, and the Brow Pomade can be used to help style unruly hair in place.
